Quality infrastructure (QI) is crucial for innovation & trade. This publication is the result of a collaboration between the key quality infrastructure institutions in Germany: BAM, BNetzA, DAkkS, DIN, DKE, PTB and ZLS. It gives a complete overview of the different QI elements and provides information on the system of product legislation in the EU and Germany. Find out how QI contributes to achieving high-quality, compliant products and services.

The event will take place over two days. On the first day, the publication will be officially launched by Director General for Digital and Innovation Policy, Stefan Schnorr (BMWi). Besides, you can expect exciting contributions by experts from the European Commission and TU Berlin/Fraunhofer ISI. On the second day, we will dive into the QI system with presentations on market surveillance, standardisation, accreditation and conformity assessment, and metrology. The event will be broadcast live and will be held in English. However, it is also possible to attend only individual sessions.

The system of product legislation in the EU and Germany, the international harmonisation of QI (standardisation, accreditation, conformity assessment, market surveillance and metrology) and the future of QI will be discussed with the following QI experts:
