2nd Annual Meeting of the German – Indonesian Working Group on Quality Infrastructure

On 18 April 2023 at 10.00-11.45 (UTC+2) / 15.00-16.45 (UTC+7) the 2nd Annual Meeting of the German-Indonesian Working Group on Quality Infrastructure will take place. German and Indonesian representatives will gather at the Hannover Fair to discuss and map the further development for the cooperation. The 2nd Annual Meeting will take place at the Hannover Messe, Convention Center, Saal 12 and will be translated into German and Indonesian simultaneously. The event will be chaired by Dr Doddy Rahadi, Head of Agency for Standardisation and Industrial Service Policy from Indonesian Ministry of Industry (MoI) and Dr Daniela Brönstrup, Director General Digital and Innovation Policy, German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

During the 2nd Annual Meeting, German and Indonesian policy makers, along with industry representatives, QI-Institutions and associations will gather and discuss the opportunities and challenges in the fields of standardisation, conformity assessment and accreditation as well as product safety.

Since the signing of the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDoI) in 2021, the platform has hosted technical and political dialogues with close and active cooperation involving companies, QI-Institutions and industry associations of both countries. The Annual Meeting will provide opportunities to further discuss and develop the cooperation.
