Annual Meetings of the Sino-German Standardization cooperation commission

The Sino-German Standardisation Cooperation Commission (SGSCC) will meet on 16 October. The annual meetings of the sub-working groups will take place on October 14 and 15, the results of which will be incorporated into the meeting on October 16.

In the meeting, current political developments in German and Chinese standardization will be discussed, as well as the progress made in the technical working groups and new areas of cooperation. The event will be attended by relevant policymakers, leading standardization experts, representatives from institutions and associations, and companies from both countries. The cooperation is based on an agreement between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the State Administration for Market Regulation of China.

The following events will take place as part of the annual conference:

• 14 October (afternoon):

• 15 October (morning):
  Annual Meeting of the SGSCC Automated and Connected Driving Sub-Working Group
  
  
• 15 October (afternoon):
  Annual Meeting of the SGSCC Industrial 4.0/Intelligent Manufacturing Sub-Working Group
  
  
• 15 October (from 5.30 p.m.):
  Official SGSCC Conference Dinner
  
  
• 16 October (morning):
  12th Plenary Session of the SGSCC

In preparation, technical expert groups will meet on October 14 and 15. You can receive more details from the respective heads of the sub-working groups.
