Initiation of German-Chinese Cooperation in the Area of Accreditation

On 31 March 2017, the German Accreditation Service (DAkkS) and the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS) decided to establish a bilateral cooperation within the framework of the Sino-German Working Group on Product Safety. At this first meeting in Frankfurt a.M. Mr. Dr. Facklam (DAkkS), President of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and Hr. Xiao Jianhua (CNAS), President of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). In the coming months, cooperation projects in the area of accreditation, e.g. for certification of the ecological product, will be developed.
