On the 11th of April, 2017 the workshop in project line “Technical Innovation” and “Technical Harmonization” of the Sino-German Sub-Working Group (SWG) on Product safety in the Automotive Industry took place within the framework of the Sino-German Working Group on Product Safety.

On the 11th of April, 2017 the workshop in project line “Technical Innovation” and “Technical Harmonization” of the Sino-German Sub-Working Group (SWG) on Product safety in the Automotive Industry took place within the framework of the Sino-German Working Group on Product Safety. The aim of the workshop was the exchange of the current developments within the vehicle homologation process in China and Germany as well as the agreement for a working plan in the project lines for 2017/18.

 

Focal points included latest development of automotive product certifications in China, case studies on technical innovation and technical harmonization (Manoeuvring lamp, Steering regulation), Report on experiences with E-mobility as well as introduction of the CCC implementation rule modification. The working topics for 2017/18 could include automated driving, Car to X communication and NEV battery related etc.
