Workshop on The Global Production Language – Next Level of Intelligent Production

The virtual workshop “The Global Production Language – Next Level of Intelligent Production" will take place on 16 March 2022, 08:30-10:30 (CET) / 14:30-16:30 (WIB).

This workshop is a first introductory event on The Global Production Language in the context of Industrie 4.0. It is organised in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA – Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer) and takes place within the framework of the German-Indonesian Dialogue on Quality Infrastructure.

The workshop will start with an overview of the current situation in Indonesia and Germany presented by the respective ministries – the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (MoI). VDMA and the OPC Foundation will then elaborate on the importance of a Global Production Language for the communication of machines and the successful implementation of Industrie 4.0. Business representatives from Indonesian companies will share their experiences. The agenda of the workshop can be found below.
